I recently got an antique pocket watch and I’m looking for info on how to get it repaired?
its a CYMA pocket watch I don’t know the year but it looks really old I really would like to get it repaired, please help in any way.

Try a local clock and watch repair shop, but don’t
be surprised if the cost is unbelievable.
I collect clocks, and I know I can clean an old
clock in a few hours for almost nothing in materials…
Yet our local shop quoted me $250 to do that.
No wonder business isn’t happening in this country…
The prices are insane.

How can I find out more about L. Perrin antique pocket watch?
I have an old pocket watch and it has the name L. Perrin and the word locle engraved on it. I have tried searching online and cannot find much about it, so i was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it or link a website that maybe helpful.

Okay kiddo – if that is a REAL L. Perrin, you might have just found your tuition for college.
But, let’s face it, kids think things from the 1960s are antiques.
So we are not really sure if its a real antique and the real deal or just a 20 yr old replica.
You need to carefully wrap it up and have a REAL jeweler look at it —- the guys at the mall are NOT real jewelers.
Perrin is the name of a famous Swiss family of master watch makers.
If a jeweler offers you money for it, say its a family heirloom and RUN.
Also if that happens, you need to have a PROFESSIONAL appraiser look at it
An original L. Perrin antique pocket watch with a small production line or better yet, a custom piece — could be worth a small fortune.
You won’t find this on the internet or for sell on EBay.
