Your Questions About Sport Watches For Kids

James asks…

I need hints for controlling my emotions during sports games my kids are in. I used to be real calm, now we ha?

ve run into some intense games where the fans gets rowdy, taunt our kids, and It really pushes my buttons. Then my husband gets mad if I yell back or tell them to be quiet or act nervous when my kid is at the plate. Just need some hints or advice so I can enjoy watching my kids again.

Every Saturday my family row over the TV?

My husband is off work and expects to be able to just sit there and watch sport in the mornings….my 4 year old thinks she can just sit and watch kids tv…..they both end up arguing and I am in the middle of it….don’t tell me to get another TV because we cant afford it. Even a 2nd hand one. I feel that my husband should take part more in family life more on Saturdays anyway…the TV should be off and if he played with the kids then we wouldnt have this….I have to hassle everybody to get dressed and drag them all out for a walk or to town just to stop the rows…it’;s making me really miserable. Now I do understand that my husband is tired and wants to chill out on a Saturday morning…but I dont get to do that do I? I have to work at night at my home run business and all day with the housework and kids…I’m not sitting there insisting that I get to chill out and watch crappy soaps or anything am I? What can I do to stop this pattern? It happens EVERY saturday.
NOw he isn’t talking to me….because I turned the TV off and said nobody should be watching it…he HAS taken the kids out to play in the garden…but he should not be mean to me because I am the one trying to keep the peace! I feel like I am HIS parent too!
PINKY EM I know! I have told him that he should not argue with her…it’s not like he sits there rowing but he doesn;t take control of the situation and gets sucked into her child like behaviour.

opinions plze on which software for the Wii?

Am dieting and wanted to use the Wii to get some excercise. I have watched kids play on the Wii Sports and we got the Fit Board but I know you can get other software to use with it. I seen one that was a personal trainer and another that had the trainer off The Biggest Loser. Are they any good or just a waste of time?

I use my Wii Fit lots. It helps me to keep regular with my exercise.

Want to watch kids at my home…had a discretion on my background check?

My husband is in the military and we live in Germany right now.Recently I volunteered to coach youth sports and had to pass an extensive background check.I passed and went on to coach the kids. Now I want to get paid to keep a few kids during the day,at my house, but need to have another bkgd ck done. But just today I found out that on my old one, there was a disgretion! The lady said sometimes that could happen if I had past problems with my bills…the only other thing I can think of is I got in trouble once for underage drinking and I was in the military and had to go through a rehab program. But I was young and stupid. Now I am 27,haven’t been in trouble since then, and don’t have any kind of alch. probs!Should I be worried that I won’t pass the check this time? This one is more extensive,of course, since I would have kids in my home, alone.I am really disappointed because I got all excited about making money and playing with kids all day and getting trained in child development

To my knowledge if you got in trouble and got an m.i.p that was before you turned 21. I am almost certain that when you turn 21, m.i.p’s get wiped off your record, so you shouldnt have to worry. Even with that, a minor in possession or a pi is only a class c misdemeanor. When they do back ground checks, they are checking for mainly felonies. They want to know basicly if you have a history of violence, theft, drugs, and so on. You should be o.k.

I think you will not really have too much trouble over that incident. It could also be that a credit check was done at the same time -really poor credit can hurt on a background check because it shows poor judgement. However the state will probably allow you a license if your home meets requirements and thats all you have on there-they mostly look for crimes against kids.
